At Newton Academy in Lusail, we were invited to design a calming and modern biophilic element that would complement the school’s natural wood interiors. The result is this beautifully integrated preserved moss wall, set within a custom-cut wood veneer niche and softly framed by indirect lighting.
Crafted from 100% natural preserved moss, this feature brings a sense of greenery and tranquility into the space—without the need for any maintenance. No watering, no sunlight, and no upkeep—just natural beauty that lasts.
The moss texture, framed in a soft curve and backlit with subtle green glow, adds depth and softness to the otherwise clean-lined architecture. It’s a subtle yet striking addition to a space where students and staff alike benefit from the calm presence of nature.
